Before 1850, there weren’t other choices aside from animal or vegetable dyes. Even after synthetic options were available, traditional craftspeople often kept using pure organic dyes.

It’s a common misconception that organic dyes result in dull and muted colors. Anyone who has seen Persian carpets and rugs that use pure organic dyes can attest to their beauty and vibrancy. Craftspeople using organic dyes can create stunning colors including royal blue, earthy brown tones, and brilliant red. Traditional Persian rugs are made using handspun wool rather than machine-spun wool. This requires more labor, but many feel that it is a better process because it is not as abrasive. Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within 3-4 business days from the date of your order. Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your items when they arrive, if you notice any damage, you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your items do arrive damaged, please send photos to support@kuroshpersianrugs.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

Return and exchange policy:

Cancellations:

All orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If the order has shipped, customers will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

Returns:

Kurosh Persian Rugs accepts returns of undamaged products for full refund or exchange within 20 days of original purchase. Items received after 20 days will be refunded via store credit.

Customer is responsible for any additional shipping costs. Return labels will not be provided.
